All health professionals wanting to work in Manitoba must be registered or licensed by the Manitoba Professional Regulatory Bodies responsible for your profession.
From outside Canada
In order to work in Canada you require a work permit or permanent residence status. Please contact Citizen and Immigration Canada Work permits are only issued to non-Canadians that have a job offer in Manitoba.
- Once you accept a formal job offer in Manitoba and receive confirmation that you meet the requirements necessary to practice your profession, the recruiting organization will start the paper work for you to obtain a Labor Market Impact Assessment approval from Service Canada for your application.
From inside Canada

There are three pathways to work and relocate to Manitoba:
Temporary Foreign Workers
A temporary work permit allows you to work in Canada for a specific employer. Before you can apply for a work permit your employer must register with Manitoba Labor and Immigration and, in most cases, obtain prior approval for foreign worker recruitment from Service Canada. A temporary work permits allows you to work in Canada for four years.

Federal Skilled Worker Status
Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) are chosen as permanent residents based on your ability to settle in Canada and contribute to our economy.
